United Way of Tulare County's 2012 Funding Cycle is now open.

United Way of Tulare County is committed to funding organizations that have met and operate at our established Standards of Excellence.

United Way of Tulare County supports programs that meet specific objectives under three focus areas:

Focus Area 1: Preparing Youth for Success

Focus Area 2: Strong Nurturing Families

Focus Area 3: Healthy and Independent Elders and People with Diabilities.

To submit an application for funding from United Way of Tulare County (UWTC):

First time Applications Organizations:

     • Review and Complete UWTC's: Operating Principles, Focus Areas, and Eligibility Criteria.

     • Complete and submit: Organization Profile by August 19, 2011. Request online Form: eMail Argelia

Organizations meeting the Eligibility Criteria, including the essentials or basic requirements to the Standards of Excellence (p. 8 of Organiztion Profile) will be asked to:

     • Attend a mandatory New Applicant Orientation scheduled for Tuesday, August 23rd, 2011 at 10-11:30 a.m. at the UWTC office located at 1601 E. Prosperity Avenue, Tulare, CA.

Re-applying Organizations:

     • Attend one of the two scheduled mandatory Application Orientations:

          ° Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 3:30-5:00 p.m., at the office located at 1601 E. Prosperity Avenue, Tulare, CA.

          ° Thursday, August 25th, 2011 at 10-11:30 a.m., at the office located at 1601 E. Prosperity Avenue, Tulare, CA.
