Emergency Food Assistance Available for Tulare County Residents Affected by the Federal Shutdown 

Are you a Federal Employee or CalFresh Recipient impacted by the federal government shutdown?

United Way Tulare County and the County of Tulare are partnering to help.

We are offering a one-time $125 Emergency Grocery Card to support individuals and families facing food insecurity during this difficult time.

Eligibility 

• Must be a currently furloughed Federal Employee with a permanent address in Tulare County,

• or a current Tulare County CalFresh recipient.

• CalFresh Recipients: eligible if you have not received your November 2025 benefits.

• Federal Employees: eligible if you have not received a November 2025 paycheck.
