Power of the Purse 2026: Thank You for an Incredible Event
United Way of Tulare County (UWTC) recently celebrated the 2026 Power of the Purse, an unforgettable morning that brought the community together in a meaningful way.
UWTC extends its sincere gratitude to its sponsors, volunteers, board members, and event committee, whose support and dedication made the event a success.
Planning is already underway for next year, and the community is encouraged to save the date for another Power of the Purse next June.
In the meantime, UWTC invites the community to attend the Annual Recognition Breakfast on September 25 at Happy Trails, where outstanding individuals will be honored for their contributions to Tulare County.

What is Power of the Purse?
Power of the Purse is United Way of Tulare County’s signature fundraising event that combines fashion, fun, and philanthropy. Guests enjoy a silent auction of designer and boutique purses, raffles, and networking—all to raise funds for programs that support women, children, and families in our community.
Join us again for this fun, high-energy event featuring designer purse raffles, great food, and inspiring moments while raising funds to support programs that improve health, education, and financial stability for families across Tulare County.
2025 Results
We're thrilled to share the incredible success of the sold out 2025 Power of the Purse! On June 13th, the Visalia Convention Center was filled with Over 400 attendees and 45 volunteers who came together for a morning of empowerment and connection.
Our 2025 event, made possible by the generous support of 35 sponsors, raised an outstanding $56,000. These funds, gathered through our popular purse auction will directly support crucial initiatives for nonprofits across Tulare County. Everyone's participation truly made a difference in improving lives in our community.
